Checkups

Timing of Component Checks

All 49 checkpoints are thoroughly assessed during the Initial Home Evaluation. Afterward, these items are checked at least once a year, with additional inspections depending on your plan level and the season. Seasonal items, like winterizing hoses, are checked less often, while essential items, like smoke detectors, are tested at every visit. Your SAM Technician will provide you with the preferred schedule for your plan.

Plans

When We Check Components

The different plans dictate how often and when checkups occur. The plans also dictate which items are checked during the appointment. For instance, in the Gold Plans (having 4 checkups), seasonal items like winterizing hose bibs or checking window seals may not occur at every checkup, however, smoke detectors will be tested at every checkup.
